Speak Out is dedicated to providing resources to young people who are looking for guidance on how to walk in their truth and stand strong in their personal journey.
College Support
Our College Support Group is a forum created to provide students with a space to safely process thoughts, feelings, and emotions, as well as voice their opinions and perspectives about critical experiences that occur during the transitional phase of college life. College support groups are managed by volunteers who are members of the Speak Out Facebook group.
The group specifically addresses individual, family, social, sexual, and psychological difficulties experienced by LGBTQ-identifying students of color. It also seeks to provide education, HIV/AIDs awareness skills development, and a peer support system to assist students with meeting academic goals, self-esteem issues, and improving their overall quality of life.
Please contact Speak Out Founder and President Antonio Driver to receive information on how to start a support group on your campus.
High School Support
Speak Out is currently not managing any outreach to youth under the age of 18. We are happy to provide a list of national and regional resources for adolescent support.
